R.I.P John Edrich

Former Surrey and England batsman John Edrich has passed away at the age of 83.

Edrich played 77 Tests for England, making 12 centuries and finishing with an average of 43.54.

His first class career was an outstanding one scoring 39,790 first-class runs over 564 games including 103 centuries.
A brave and tenacious batsman to the enth degree.
