Rip the VOICE of Golf

Not just one of golf greatest commentators, but amongst the best sports commentators. A bloody good player as well, a regular in the Ryder Cup, & 31 professional victories. Came out with some hilarious stuff behind the mic, a funny bloke.
It is said that he helped Sean Connery with his game, for the famous scene in Goldfinger.

Shocked to hear this as he commented at the Masters tournament just a shot time ago

I believe he was very prolific in the Ryder Cup, and I think golf has lost it's best ambbassador annd one of it's true voices. Golf won't seem the same on the TV without his voice. Hope the BBC will honour him in some way at the awards.
