In the Walker Cup the morning foursomes on Day 2 were tied 2 - 2 giving USA a 8.5 - 7.5 lead. GB & Ireland would've been hoping for parity or even a lead going into the singles matches after the dominant USA performance on Day 1.

Well done him, but i'd be amazed if he lost a single night's sleep since the Masters going "when will I ever win again?!"

^^ Very true. It is all about expectation with Rory & often unfairly. Given his talent he's expected to have multiple wins in a season in the same way Tiger did at his peak. I just think that the emotions of the Masters win required a re-set, it isn't like his form completely deserted him, he is still the No.2 ranked golfer in the world. He was a 4-1 favourite for this event with just Lowry & Hatton from the Ryder Cup team for company & captain Donald. He was expected to win & got the job done, so well done.

The afternoon single matches on Day 2 went in favour of USA 8.5 - 1.5. THE Cypress Point course was shrouded in mist, but GB & Ireland had nowhere to hide.

Dunhill Links Championship has been reduced to a 54 hole comp as round 3 was cancelled due to strong winds.
Scot Bob MacIntyre finished on -18 to win by 4 shots with his Ryder Cup teammate Tyrrell Hatton runner up.

What a year it's been for Tommy Fleetwood. After Tour Championship and Ryder Cup success now he has won the DP World India Championship to claim an 8th European Tour title with a winning score of -22.
A seven under round of 65 got the job done in the final round.

Well done Tommy.

^^ Really happy for Tommy & a good finish for his Ryder Cup teammate Lowry who tied 3rd with Lawrence (SA) & Alex Fitzpatrick the brother of Matt.
It was a great tournament of a decent course & should to wonders for growing the game in that part of the world, although I wouldn't want to see them dominate golf as they have cricket.
