I loved 1977 - one of the best debut indie albums ever (along with I Should Coco) but feel that nothing they've done since has been as good. Anyway, you've inspired me Rivers - going to do and dig 1977 out now
Good choice. I love Free All Angels though it's one of the few albums where pretty much every track could've been a single and Shining Light is probably one of my favourite ever songs.
I've been listening to Lose Control, the opening tack on 1977 a lot lately. Such a great way to start the album!

How sexy is this video? dark & thought provoking & a great twist to sleeping beauty, puuurrr! Joulia Stepanova plays a very sexy sleeping beauty, I implore you not to like the video ;-)
So true! You've made me want to listen to my fave rammstein song now! Ich will
Well going to shake this place up with something a little different.
Just how much hate mail is this going to get me for my taste in music?

I tried mixing D&B a few months back, just couldnt keep up with it.I used to mix Hardcore but these days its Trance so its tougher to mix them being used to the slower speed...shame too as i loved mixing Hardcore lol

Oh? Doesn't to me
It is an acquired taste I guess. The more you get exposed to it the more you see the differences, just like anything else.
Surprised that someone who doesn't like it can say it all sounds the same though. My experience is that a lot of people that don't like D'n'B haven't even heard any as it isn't exactly mainstream, not that they like it once they have
Back on topic though. Just to show my range isn't limited, and I can hear the groans now when I mention them
Gone pop with the latest PCD and Alesha Dixon albums
Oh dear looks like I've diverted the thread
Actually neither of those two artists are amongst my favourites so just shows the variety. Got to say I got introduced to the music through the mastery of Nicky Blackmarket and although my taste is way wider than that now he is still one of the greats.
Okay, today I'm back on the D'n'B with...
High Society - High Contrast
&
Aftershock - Aphrodite
With D&B Pendulum's earlier stuff was great but this past year or so has been total crap
She Ain't Worth it - Glenn medeiros feat Bobby Brown. Long story as to why am listaining to this song lol
