I think its a good idea in Theroy for them an the BBC as long as they actually showed Wales,Scotland an Northen Ireland as well not just England all the time. Not sure Sky will be happy with this sugestion though.
The only thing is ITV are really crap at football coverage, remember when they had the rights for the premier league highlights?

They're crap at footy, I agree, but that's far from the only thing they're crap at. Pretty much all sport, comedy, news, anything involving Ant n Dec etc

The worst coverage from them was for this years FA Cup - remember them going to a commercial break during the Everton Liverpool game and consequently missed Everton's winning goal? And their highlights programme of the third round was useless as well.
When you realise ITV2,3, & 4 are actually better than the original channel, you know the shit has hit the fan.
I shall never forget the commercial break missing the winning FA cup goal, I will also never forget the awful punditry of Andy Townsend and Robbie Earle.
Andy townsend; a man who's not afraid to say..........What everyone already knows!
Whatever happened to andy townsend's tactics truck. ITV was years ahead of it's time when it stuck townsend in a truck !! Big Grin

Terrestrial channels make me laugh. They have no interest in the nations sporting sides when they are doing poorly & therefore don't offer any money for the coverage. Sky take a punt & get the rights for english cricket & football & low & behold when the teams start becoming successfull the terrestrial channels start moaning that they should have these events free to air. Terrestrial channels are like fair weather football fans i'm afraid, they are very interested when your team is playing man utd & chelsea regular but you don't see them at all when they are playing yeovil & doncaster.
