It's criminal that happened over 20 years ago and still no justice for those wrongly accused
Ed Davey (i refuse to use that fuckwit's undeserved title) who was Postal Affairs Minister at the time, says "It wasn't me Sir" and points at the other kids...

I'd put him on trial with her.
i see priti patel jumping on the bandwagon about it shame she wasnt home secatary and couldnt have done something about it earlier Tongue Tongue
^The Probability of her doing anything woild have been sweet FA given her attention span
I get the feeling the inquiry into this is likely to become possibly uncomfortable reading for some people.
Not to mention Fujitsu and Infosys have a partnership
Says a lot about the current state of our society. This whole thing is hardly news, its been known about for years, and either been swept under the carpet, or more recently, a few crumbs have been thrown with some convictions being quashed. It's been repeatedly bought to public attention, and as little done as possible, but suddenly, a TV show gets made and its action stations, gongs getting handed back, mentions in parliament circles, talk of passing laws. Is that what it takes to actually get anything done these days, a tv show? Not even an in-depth cutting analysis in the form of a documentary, but a dramatisation no less.

Maybe we should ditch the whole covid inquiry and just have an episode of Caualty focussed on the issue! How about a new series of Thomas the Tank Engine to cover the whole HS2 business.
It's 4 years since I listened to this on R4 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/series/m000jf7j

It boiled my piss then, but I didn't think the whole thing would've been slow-walked the way it has, one it was exposed.
If it takes a tv drama to make the Government get off it's arse then so be it. But Munch1917 is right, it's piss poor that that's what it took.
think i was reading about it in 2010 in computer weekly them and Ian Hislop at Private Eye did most of the leg work in the early days

now the media are all jumping on it makes my piss boil

I get a feeling they are going to make Fujitsu a scape goat and those at the post office and the overseers get off scot free

plus any new contract will just end up at infosys
