I got thinking about this as it relates to the recent discussions around the current state of the 900 Channels (free tv not PPV) on different chat topic threads! What do we think will be the direction of travel for the adult channels next year given the decrease in the numbers of such channels in the last two years or so, and the lack of new faces/names being seen/promoted on those left??

1 Continued slide to ultimately disappearing altogether?
2 Treading water as now
3 Improvement?? In terms of new faces/names to existing channels
4 Resurgence with new channels being born to provide variety, choice?
5 Other (Hopes/Expectations - with examples)
I voted for number 2 Treading water as now.

The babes and channels are still making money despite the cost of living crisis.

There is no real incentive for them to improve their content or reduce their prices.

The only minor hope is that a new babe might appear or a old one will return.
Prety much the same ryuken, thinking there needs to be new babes to breathe life into the channels and feel there also needs to be a new channel to bring a bit of healthy competition to BS & xxpanded.
#Very much like to see both channels get away from bed sets and introduce new sets to offer a differenr slant on interaction.

I would particularly agree with the need for new channels with different purpose /narrative to provide competition, and help to reduce, if not stop, the current level of complacency/dismissive arrogance <------ eek How could I suggest such a thing!

I took a slightly (very slight) optimistic road in voting treading water as now! I think sadly, that if there were going to be new channels, they would most likely have been established by now! I fear, although I couldn't bring myself to vote for this one, number 1 is very likely! Whether sooner or later is a moot point!
I hope to see the ones who have broke out this year to push away the ones who have been underperforming as they deserve it
