West Indies v England

Eng won toss and bat

England: 325 all out (50 overs)
Brook 71, Crawley 48, Salt 45.

West Indies: 326/6 (48.5 overs)
Hope 109no, Athanaze 66
Ahmed 2/40

West Indies won by 4 wickets.

A depressing defeat Sad.
Poor bowling performance by England and not unexpected if you pick players who demonstrated in the World Cup that they were out of form.
Looks like the balance of the side is all wrong. Only 4 main bowlers, They got away with Livingstone bowling his 10. I would've liked to have seen Jacks get some overs to take the pressure off Sam Curran who is not a great 50 over bowler. From what I saw this summer his brother Tom out played him with bat & ball.
With the bat too many players got in & got out, if Brook could've extended his innings 350 was possible.
England win the toss & bowl in the 2nd ODI in Antigua. West Indies in trouble early, 41-4 after 10 overs, Sam Curran finally in the wickets again with 3-19.
Second ODI - North Sound, Antigua

Hope 68, Rutherford 63
Curran 3/33, Livingstone 3/39.

England: 206/4 (32.5 overs)
Jacks 73, Buttler 58no
Motie 2/34

England won by 6 wickets
