A few hundred posts late due to my powers of observation being akin to that of a doughnut . But nonetheless the recognition has finally arrived.

One of my favourite posters on the whole forum. Firm opinion combined with a no nonsense acerbic wit but also charm.
Never one to over complicate and prattle on like that cranky old git Snooks.

From Tubs Murphy to Harry Borekins I have had many a cause for a snigger and a grin at some of the posting output of Doddle particularly as regards the sport he and I both love so much .
Snooker has been a huge part of my life and to debate and talk about it on here has been an equal joy. Here is a poster who has given me much entertainment and reading pleasure.

A perhaps unheralded poster that is long overdue recognition like this imo.

I agree, there are members that just make the place better, and Doddle is one of those. Salute!

That Doddle fella aint half bad, considering he hails from t'other side o' hill. I'll be honest, he loses me at times, I'm not exactly on the same intellect level as him, & I often have to resort to Google to unravel posts that are beyond me. This man knows a lot of stuff. Above everything else, a unique sense of humour, which is right up my street. Well done fella.

Thanks to Snooks for flagging this up, following my Reg tribute, I hope this can become a trend, far better than to have to pat yourself on the back, but that's fine as well, but for those too modest for self-praise, it's a nice thing to do & good to celebrate our own throughout the year & not just during the Forum Awards, but also not to take anything away from the big event. These acts are more understated, but no less important.

I am flattered to be so commended by post counters #6, #5 and #11. It's always a relief to think I can't be that much of a spam merchant when such fine people leave me for dust.

I've tried the principle of "quality over quantity" but it's not the same

That's ok. Once he gets to 26k I will bump the thread .
Then again at 27k, 28k etc etc etc out of sheer bloody mindedness .
The thread will never die, it will be eternal .

Better that than creating even more threads except when I reach the total of 147,147 posts which I shall use as a gratuitous excuse to flood the forum with threads about what an awesome number of posts I have submitted relevant to my own username .
