This thread is for you to nominate the worst road in your area for Potholes, repairs and your enconters with them Pics are welcome if you have any.
To kick off I nominate the A1001 between my parents' house and Welwyn Garden City. God knows how many times that road has been dug up, but I'm pretty sure that has the worst road surface/repairs I've seen for a A listed road - they haven't even matched the surface to the last time it was dug up to make it it an even surface. There's one pothole ithat you can't avoid and you do feel it when you drive over it, and has probably never been repaired!!
Also, when it floods it floods like hell, water on surface for about three or four days especially at a junction near a bridge.
