Former BBC presenter Bill Turnbull has died aged 66. Much loved and respected presenter of BBC Breakfast and had been battling prostrate cancer.

It is with sad news to report this morning that Bill Turnbull has sadly passed away at the age of 66. I used to watch him when he was on BBC Breakfast. He was a great guy and nice person all round RIP Bill

He always seemed like genuinely nice, down to earth bloke. R.I.P.

My thoughts exactly.

BBC Breakfast is a poor show without him.

A truly nice bloke, as well as his tv work ,he was well know for his bee keeping in God's own county of Suffolk
