Hopefully they will decide to do a batman beyond movie with Keaton and try and get Burton back to direct I would like to see a futuristic take on his gothic style
^^^ they going to years ago and there weee talks about it a couple years ago.
They don’t need a Kevin Feige they need a sense of direction which at the moment it doesn’t have as it’s all over the place. All they to do is a make stand alone films like with what they did the Joker and The Batman which worked once you established the set of characters then shared universe. The eventually crossover with Shazam and Black Adam will work as they’ve set that up already and also with comic book past.
^^
I don't even think that crossover will happen I'm surprised Shazam even got a sequel considering its poor box office I think DC at the moment need to take a year and plan out what they want to do, first thing they need to do is just come out and say Henry cavil is not superman anymore because that is just a negative cloud at the minute, And then personally I would use the batman as a starting point and build from it by the time the 3rd batman movie is out they could have a starting film for each of all the main justice League members then go into the justice League movie.. it's what they should have done in the first place
^^^ you actually wrong there about Shazam, most super hero films have a huge budget and gets high if they do reshoots or pick up shoots. Shazam was made much smaller budget of 80+ million and made close to 400 million, now add to that selling the movie to streaming sites, renting it and of course Blu Ray and dvd sells that’s how it determines whether a film gets a sequel plus because it low budget super hero film Warner Bros distributed it under there New Line Cinema company because it thar low budget.
The big budget movies on average are any where between 150 -250 million the bigger the budget the more money the film has to make before it breaks even so it would have make anything from 400 - 600 million before film is even in profit.
The Joker was made on a low budget of $55–70 million and made
$1.074 billion[ by the numbers it made more profit then most of the super hero or even big budget movies making the billion dollar mark because The Joker was a low budget movie. plus with steaming, Blu Ray and dvd sales even more money.
What they did with Batgirl was dumb it would have made more sense of they cancelled it early in production but to do it after production and they were about to do the effects and editing is dumb but hey they’ll claim it on the insurance i did hear she might pop on the movies but they should have at least finished it and just put it on HBO Max. They have cancelled finished stuff before they scrapped Beware of The Batman and the animated series was finished they did the same with The Green Lantern series and cancelled it half way through and claimed the insurance. As I said before if you have clear direction then your gonna be in issues.
Shazam only made a profit of £74 million after everything was said and done that's not great for even a medium budget superhero movie
And I think this new one will make even less because of the competition it's coming out against

Hbo max will be no more today
^^^ again your missing your point how do you define what is of isn’t great. I’ve already explained it to you and quite you haven’t read or understand. These studios all have share holders who are out to make a profit they don’t green light projects if they dion’t make profit that’s not how any business works Rolleyes
Plus you looked up the 74 million and failed to mention for it break even it had to make between $235–250 million worldwide in order to break even with it’s total gross of $366 million this doesn’t even include streaming, Blu Ray or dvd sales.
John Wick was made on a budget of $20–30 million and world wide box office of 86 million yet got a 2nd, 3rd and now a 4th movie so is that a box office bomb then?

John wick wasn't a flop because it made its break even from domestic alone the rest of the world wide gross was its profit, domestic is the only thing that matters as studios receive less of the takings why do you think terminator terminator genisys didn't get a sequel even though it got to its break even ? it's because the majority came from china there is a lot that goes into gross profits of films like for instants all the production companies you see the logos at the beginning of movies they all get a slice of the pie. Shazam was not a success and it's sequel will be even less of one it's coming out against avatar 2

Also kal-el there is no reason to be so aggressive mate jesus
I really wish you would learn to read where I did I say John Wick was so stop taking my words out context.
Now your changing the narrative they base it world wide net, a movie has make three times the amount of budget before it even breaks even you mentioned that most movies release in China which would part of world wide net gross so which is the domestic or world wide gross then? And some films don’t even Chinese release if it don’t follow there rules and certain films still on to make good box office.
I’ve asked fiends of that have in cinema industry and tL
As for Terminator Genisys, the original rights after Terminator Salvation were lost because the company went Bankruot sues and filed for bankruptcy. Megan Ellison and her production company, Annapurna Pictures, acquired the franchise rights in May 2011. so it’s not even the same people that made the previous film.
Right first off you asked if John wick was a bomb ? And I explained why is wasn't...

Secondly how am I changing the narrative? We was talking about box office gross of Shazam so how is talking about domestic and worldwide changing the narrative?

Thirdly why are you talking about terminator salvation a film that came out in 2009 I was talking about the box office of genisys which came out in 2015 and why it didn't get a sequel even though it reached its breakeven you seem to be the one changing the narrative

And fourthly you keep saying I need to learn to read maybe you need to learn to stop [mod edit: comment removed] because telling someone who has had dyslexia his whole life to learn to read when it's you who seems to be having the problem understanding what I'm saying whilst discussing a superhero film that under performed at the box office
