Who are your top 3 for Brookline?
McIlroy's started well.
McIlroy still went well after 2 rounds. Morikawa among quite a starry leaderboard yesterday too.

Mickelson missed the cut, though.
Tough conditions made for a topsy turvy day 3.
Players were up and down the leaderboard as shots came and went.
Ultimately two players ended up sharing the overnight lead.
American Will Zalatoris and Englishman Matt Fitzpatrick are both on -4.
Jon Rahm one shot back at -3 and a cluster of players one or two shots further back including Rory McIlroy at -1.
An intriguing final day in store.
Rory & Rahm, both showing their frustrations as they fail to make any headway on the front 9. Scheffler has made the big move picking up 4 shots. The current world No.1 has 2 PGA wins, a WGC Match Play title, & a green jacket. He has amazing composure. Fitz & Zalatoris are both fighters, & this is far from over. On this course bogies aren't a bad score on some holes, they'll all make some, the key to winning this is the player who keeps the damaging doubles off their card.
Take a bow Matt Fitzpatrick.
Solid as a rock.

That bunker shot on 18 Surprised.
Balls of steel eek.

US OPEN CHAMPION 2022!!
^^ Balls of steel, & from Sheffield Smile some consolation for his team, the blades missing out in the Pllayoffs again.
Only Nicklaus has won the US Open, & US Amateur on the same course.

Watch out for his brother Alex, who is to turn pro, he's a proper player. Important
Well done the Brit then Wink Good top 10 stuff from Rory and Rahm I think. Morikawa and Matsuyama got back in the mix too.
I think I have watched that bunker shot on 18 at least 100 times now.
Still can't believe he nailed it like that.
WHAT...........A...........SHOT Surprised.
He has to nail down a Ryder Cup spot even IF he DOESN'T win at St. Andrews, he'd be a good pairing for McIlroy
