After 3 years, we are back with the most iconic road race event of them all. Made all the better this year with the first time it has been shown live via the TT Plus website/app. At 0nly £14 and something quid, great value! Hoping Michael Dunlop can add to the dynasty roll call, but either way, a safe fortnight for all is the most important thing.
RIP Mark Purslow!! died doing what he loved most and in so doing, lived his life his way! The best tribute would - and will be - for the rest to produce the best weeks racing possible in the next 7 to 8 days. Already Peter Hickman has shown his intentions with two fastest quali times
So it begins!! First up the first Superbike race at noon, and perfect conditions for it as well.
PETER HICKMAN
DEAN HARRISON
MICHAEL DUNLOPHeart

Great work from 'Hicky' won it by a comfortable margin, with no dramas! Another podium for the Dunlop dynasty too! Quality start to the week of racing, and everyone home safely!!HeartHeart Massive crowd numbers everywhere. Interested to know how many were tuned to the livestream.
Remembering Olivier Lavorel today after he lost his life competing in the sidecar event yesterday!

Wishing his co - pilot Cesar Chanel well for a full recovery!!

As the usual suspects raise their heads above the parapet to demand that the TT be banned, we the Motorbike racing family stand together in defending the sport and event. Each and every competitor knows the risks (they are inherent in motorsport) and they race regardless with eyes wide open!!
Another day, another Dunlop victory!! In the Supersport race Michael absolutely spanked them by over 4 seconds! Number twenty overall! The Legend continues!!HeartHeartSmileCool
Peter Hickman doubles up with victory in the Superstock!HeartHeart Isle Of Man favourite Conor Cummins had a more than creditable second! Michael Dunlop - after being in amongst it in the early stages - had to settle for 5th, well down the leaderboard
Can't believe I am doing this again!!

DAVEY MORGAN RIP!!

Thinking of the Morgan family today after the passing of Davey following yet another crash! From my village as well, so even harder to take. Davey raced for the sheer love of the sport, and the pleasure it brought him. No big name team, nor mega money sponsorship, no, just hard graft by himself and a few mates helping him out. Struggling to find the finances to continue but securing what little backing was available to him to keep going. He even contemplated retirement, but the pandemic, and the isolation of lockdown etc brought a realization of just how much he was missing the bike scene!

Not a great year at the TT - no argument!! However no need for some of the more self righteous comments/opinions from those who don't understand, and have never watched - let alone - attended such events around banning (or worse comments even) which I can't recount here.
Hat - Trick for Hickman in the Supertwin 650cc class! Third silver lady in the bag!HeartHeart Nip and Tuck with Michael Dunlop until his bike went pop on the third and final lap!
Supersport race 2 and another chequered flag in first place for Michael Dunlop with Peter Hickman having to settle for second. 21 wins now and five behind his uncle and the G.O.A.T Joey!! Just the big one - and the one they all want - the Senior to come.
