Heather Watson and Katie Boulter qualified for the main draw but got beat. Harriet Dart also qualified and beat Elena Svitolina (!) to reach the 3rd round. Emma Raducanu entered in the 2nd round and won in 3 sets.
There's probably some blokes too (not Novak though) if you're bothered.
Yeah, too bad for C. Garcia, but at least she'll have something new to talk about on the phones
Raducanu lost in 3 sets to Martic, and Andy Murray lost to Bublik in 2 sets.
Harriet Dart is in the last 16 though, Dan Evans is set to play Rafa Nadal, and Cameron Norrie is still there too, I think. Not to mention the Doubles contingent.
Nadal did beat Evans, but Norrie prevailed too,
Dart lost to the much better Madison Keys.
Norrie beat Brooksby in straight sets.
Martic and Keys were crushed in their turn by Swiatek and Halep.
Alcaraz beat Norrie in straight sets.
Joe Salisbury (and Rajeev Ram) lost their semi-final too.
Nadal lost the men's final to Taylor Fritz. It was Rafa's first loss in 2022 apparently.
Swiatek beat Sakkari to win the women's final.
Raducanu, Draper and Murray all got through round one matches yesterday while Norrie has got through his round two encounter today.
Draper drawn against Evans, I think, which is mixed luck, really.
