So why are you on the forum then if you don't like porn? The babeshows are porn too, albeit mainly softcore

I have a very good reason for not watching porn, which I am not prepared to discuss on here. I have no problem with the girls doing their own thing, or even two girls together doesn't bother me. But if I see a so called Mr P get involved it brings back some very bad memories and I go into a state of deep depression. I don't criticize you or anyone else for watching porn. So please don't criticize me. I have as much right to be on here as you do.

I wasn't criticising you, don't know where you got that from. I was just wondering why you're on the forum when you dont like watching porn, given the babeshows are porn too.
A little message from Scarlett

Aww that's really lovely from Scarlett, another example of just what a wonderful person she is as also is the fact she's given all those who has voted for her free 7 day access to her OnlyFans.

And thanks to her official forum rep too SmileWink

Am I correct in thinking that Scarlett can now get a work permit to work in the USA?

Unfortunately, I don't think it's within the powers of the porn industry to give Scarlett a work permit, but as Scarlett is a qualified legal eagle she has a better chance than most overseas porn stars at winning her case.

Unless it's changed radically from when I got my US work permit (was 20 years ago mind) all you needed was a confirmation of job offer, and the employer dealt with the registration process. I think I had to show I was a UK national (and not an immigrant to the UK) but that was just a copy of my passport.

Now because she's an independent trader, the agency she's signed up to may not be considered an employer, so it may not be absolutely as clear cut. But I remember talking to Lexi Lowe before she headed to the US and she had a string of scenes lined up before she went which showed employment whilst she was there.

I do wander whether young Ms Jones is embelushing a snifter to encourage voting (I voted for her, just because I think she's fabulous, genuinely seems to care for her fans and does things the right way) but I for one don't mind if she ends up with a showcase from Elegant Angel and multiple scenes from Dogfart. I need to have a lie down at the prospect

No you're not correct.

I looked up the regulations and the relevant section refers to an extraordinary ability in the arts and "evidence that the alien has received significant recognition for achievements from organizations, critics, government agencies, or other recognized experts in the field in which the alien is engaged".

I don't think an XBIZ cam award would really qualify as "significant recognition". It doesn't make Scarlett a prominent figure in the arts. But you never know, maybe a top lawyer in the field could try and swing it for her. It seems doubtful to me, but maybe it would be possible if the application was carefully worded.

PhredE was correct in saying that Hollywood awards could help, as the regulations specifically mention "an Academy Award, an Emmy, a Grammy, or a Director’s Guild Award". If an application was based on adult industry awards I think there'd need to be a long list to have any chance of being taken seriously.

The procedure outlined by hairbald that the employer deals with the registration process doesn't apply to entertainment jobs. That only works for business and professional jobs and seasonal agricultural workers. An employer can't sponsor a pornstar to get a work permit, although it could sponsor a fashion model.
On the picture thread there is one of her outside the new Mod Pizza off Regency Village Drive close to International Drive in Orlando.

If the photo had been taken from a slightly different angle you could have the apartment we own there. (When I say own - the company owns it, but since I own 60% of the company....).
I knew that I'd seen something about a Visa application

She can certainly apply. She needs 3 of the following to support her application and she clearly feels that her award win will satisfy (5).

(1) Evidence that the alien has performed, and will perform, services as a lead or starring participant in productions or events which have a distinguished reputation as evidenced by critical reviews, advertisements, publicity releases, publications contracts, or endorsements;
(2) Evidence that the alien has achieved national or international recognition for achievements evidenced by critical reviews or other published materials by or about the individual in major newspapers, trade journals, magazines, or other publications;
(3) Evidence that the alien has performed, and will perform, in a lead, starring, or critical role for organizations and establishments that have a distinguished reputation evidenced by articles in newspapers, trade journals, publications, or testimonials;
(4) Evidence that the alien has a record of major commercial or critically acclaimed successes as evidenced by such indicators as title, rating, standing in the field, box office receipts, motion pictures or television ratings, and other occupational achievements;
(5) Evidence that the alien has received significant recognition for achievements from organizations, critics, government agencies, or other recognized experts in the field in which the alien is engaged;
(6) Evidence that the alien has either commanded a high salary or will command a high salary or other substantial remuneration for services in relation to others in the field, as evidenced by contracts or other reliable evidence.
