British satellite viewers have dozens of free-to-air adult channels available to them, and TV regulator Ofcom is proposing to get much tougher, clarifying the rules on what can - and cannot - be shown to viewers

Soz if this has been posted before just thought it might be of some intrest to members of this forum. As ever the people who run ofcom seem to be idiots.
Such bullshit. The watershed's there for a reason, parents know this kind of thing can be shown after nine so should have a) restrictions on their Sky digibox b) not let their kids have access to the TV alone after 9pm. Plus, you can see much more revealing stuff or much worse language, since the girls don't even swear on camera, on Channel 4 or 5 after 9pm anyway so what's the big deal? Why not go after them as well?
Cos the 900 channels are much easier targets with less mainstream exposure & a much less publically open support? OFCOM have to justify their existance somehow & its far easier to kill the small guy than go after the terrestial big boys & the potential headlines/backlash that may involve. No one would batter an eyelid if the 900s disappeared. Sad but true.
They don't even need to go after channel 4 etc. 'cause they're not doing anything wrong, it's just fucked that they're bullying the 900 channels just to give themselves something to do. Cunts.
We need one of the 'big three' to rip off millions of phone callers again to get their attention away from the 900's! Wink
Ofcom,if you're listening,PIN protect us and F*ck Off!

'sustained sex scenes'...what with a PHONE!
Quote:"Ofcom has foud that recent material which has been transmitted without any access restrictions has featured nudity of a strong sexual nature, and sustained sex scenes and sexual language that has not, in some cases, been justified by the context in which the material was transmitted,"says Ofcom's consultation comment.

So what channel's this happen on then?

Ofcom are beyond a joke, bunch of fucking tools.

You've still got to do those concerts in the O2 arena and then it's back 'over the pond' with you! Big Grin
