"At the 11th hour of the the 11th Day in the 11th Month, the guns fell silent.."

This sentence marked the appointed time WW1 was over. On this day of days, some 100+ years later we all should stand quiet for two minutes this morning and remember those who never came back, not only from two World Wars but all wars Britain and it's allies have fought in since.

On this day of Days let us share our own personal rememberancce thoughts stories, and thank yous to those from our own families who fought and never came back.

On this day at 11am, I will be honouring not only those from the wars thst this country fought in but also my uncle who was captured at Arnhem and spent the rest of the war in a prison of war camp in Germany with my mum's mum and my mum and her sisters never knew where he was for a long period of time.

So if you are able to share memories this is the place to do it.

Finally A big thank and respect given to all who fell fighting for our very freedoms today. You are all heroes to us, where ever you are.

Massive respect to your Uncle and everyone who fought at Arnhem. Every single one of them is a genuine hero and they don't get the recognition they deserve because it wasn't a "victory".
