Thread for the new season.
WWE PPV Prediction Competition 2021/2022

Hello everyone, welcome to this years WWE PPV prediction competition. Hopefully we see some old faces and maybe a couple of newer ones but whether you decide to join in for all rounds or just one, its still appreciated the same.

I decided at the end of the day it was a good time to interact with everyone last time around I figured I'll be mad enough to go again Big Grin

As per Doddle's idea, I've decide to put a list of the previous winners here:
- 2016/2017 Winner - Doddle
- 2017/2018 Winner - Jack The Nipper
- 2018/2019 Winner - Jack The Nipper
- 2019/2020 Winner - WWENut
- 2020/2021 Winner - WWENut

Rules

Right now the introduction is out the way let's get down to the rules.

The main scoring is the same as last year so:
- 3 points for a correct prediction
- 5 bonus points if you get all predictions correct on a ppv

Now I'm adding a new feature for this year, ' The WildCard' because after all whats a wrestling game without one or two gimmicks Tongue.

The WildCard rules are as follows:
- Each player gets to play their WildCard just once throughout the comp.
- Once played the participant will score double points for that ppv
- To make it so its not 'game breaking' you cannot play your WildCard at Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Summerslam, Money in the Bank or any Super Shows
- Finally just make sure you make it clear in your post when you're playing your WildCard

Just think of it similar to the joker idea in the football game for those who take part in that, except you can only play the WildCard once per competition.

That being said we'll get the show on the road tomorrow when the Extreme Rules card will be posted so cheers and good luck to all participants Big Grin

Jeez if only I put this much effort in elsewhere laugh
Is this really Year 6? Holy hell.

Cheers to HLO for setting such a high standard (or causing less arguments perhaps) last time that nobody could be arrogant enough to think they could do better Wink

And good luck to all those taking part.

Welcome one and all to the first ppv for this years competition Extreme (but not really) Rules.

WWE Universal Championship Extreme Rules Match
Roman Reigns vs 'The Demon' Finn Balor

*WWE Championship Match
Big E vs Bobby Lashley

WWE Raw Women's Championship Match
Charlotte Flair vs Alexa Bliss

WWE Smackdown Women's Championship Match
Becky Lynch vs Bianca Belair

WWE United States Championship Triple Threat Match
Damian Priest vs Sheamus vs Jeff Hardy

WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship Match

Singles Match
Carmella vs Liv Morgan

* Whilst the Big E/Lashey match has not been announced I'm kind of hedging my bets on it happening as I'm pretty sure WWE wouldn't utilise a new champ on a ppv but then again it is WWE. Plus if I'm wrong I would just simply not count it so no biggy (pun kind of intended) Big Grin

Don't forget as always I will add any matches that get announced before the cutoff and will update you guys as much as possible if a match gets a new stipulation or personell changes happen.

Remember this is the first opportunity you have to play your WildCard but it is only the first ppv so you may want to wait...Wink If you're unsure what the WildCard is look up a couple of posts I've explained it imperfectly there.

Last but not least a reminder to get your predictions in by 11pm Saturday, thanks to everyone who is planning on taking part and Good Luck Big Grin

1.Yes it counts but remember the WildCard is a one time use, so if you play it at extreme rules you cannot use it again at any other ppv.

2. Put it in with your predictions just say something simple like "I'm playing my WildCard" and then leave the rest to me Wink
