Starts tomorrow.
Sure to be a stern golfing test.
I thibk it is notoriously an unforgiving course if you hit a wayward shot

Think we could see Phil Mickelson in the mix somewhere, but would love to see a British win.

35 year old David Coupland from Boston Lincolnshire makes his debut in the US Open. He started playing golf at 13 with his dad, who has packed in his job as a binman to caddie for him, he said he can walk up to 10 miles a day chasing a bin lorry, so should be up tp walking 4 rounds of golf.
I bet £4.50 on Branden Grace to win at odds of 125-1. Worth a punt.
A few players will have to return today to complete their 1st round, after fog delayed the start by an hour. Henley & Oosthuizen lead on -4, with Francesco Molinari a shot back with Cabrera Bello. 6 player sit on -2 including Matsuyama, Rahm & Brooks Koepka & 13 players on -1 with brits Hatton Fitzpatrick, Bland, Mcllroy, also the other Molinari Eduardo.

Right, that's me done, 1st tee booked, I'm outa here.
Have a good t-, oh, he's gone.
I'm back, laugh Played a blinder today, missed a put on the last to equal my PB on my home course, which would've been a 6th birdie.

Just to correct my previous post, it was a 90 minute delay, & 36 players have to complete their round.

Grace holed his approach shot at the 2nd for an eagle, stands at Even Par & 6 off the lead held by England's Richard Bland.
Bland is joint leader with Russell Henley on -5 after day 2 with former major champions Oosthuizen and Bubba Watson 1 and 2 strokes behind respectively.
Jon Rahm is 2 back while my pick Branden Grace is still in with a shout at Even par.

Saturday is moving day so the contenders should start to raise the stakes.
