The last week or so I'm finding Chunklist links are playing in VLC but it won't record them. Any ideas?
Cheers
^^ They seem to be broadcasting the signal in two parts.

ao_m3u contains the audio. VLC records a black screen with the soundtrack.
vo_m3u contains the video. VLC records the video with no audio.
I hadn't noticed that thanks. i had noticed it was random whether I picked a stream that worked.
The problem is that I can get VLC to stream the vid but it won't record it; when I press the usual button it doesn't work. Maybe it's a VLC problem but it works fine for BS and BS24. I have loaded the latest version.
^^ I haven't updated VLC, Im still using the 3.0.14 version. I can still record s66 (without any audio).
I have been using 3.0.04 for ages now; the first time I updated from that it wouldn't pick up the high res streams just low. I tried the latest 3.0.16 but that was no good either. maybe I will search out 3.0.14.
I don't understand why it's suddenly happened, I can record the other channels.

Try changing to a different stream / restarting stream, etc.

I find that it takes a few tries before the "correct" chunklist stream pops up which has both audio and video (refer to attachment, bottom links in yellow are the correct links)

ao = audio only
vo = video only

VLC 3.0.16 is working fine for me for recording
I'm not seeing any of those "correct" streams in your screenshot.
and now I can't get VLC to stream any S66 streams now.
What website are you using?

To me both the lines in yellow on your attachment look the same, and see nothing that differentiates between ao & vo, so how can we tell which is which.

I am using VLC 3.0.16 and can get S66 streams to play but pressing the REC button makes no difference as it will not record.

Is there something I should be looking for in the link that I copy that begins with chinklist Huh
I'm having the same issues. Can get the streams to play in VLC by pasting in the chunklist/vo but when I press the record button, it very rarely saves anything?
anyone have an update how we record on s66 now that they've moved over to a different streaming model? they don't seem to be using playlist streaming model anymore. i'm sure it's more involved and complicated now too given the authorizations they require for even free streaming.
