Former sports presenter and BBC breakfast host Frank Bough has died age 87
Sad news, he was Grandstand for me. God bless Frank.

not only Grandstand but he also fronted the first Breakfast TV show on the BBC. Remember him on many an outside Sports Broadcast at Aintree.
Quite an amazing CV, a trailblazer.
Great broadcaster but ended in scandal that would not be seen as a scandal today ! a lot in the BBC were doing a n awful lot worse

Yeah, sad how it ended.
Poor old Frank was hounded out of the BBC for enjoying himself with other like minded consenting adults, while paedos and perverts got away scot free.
