That creates a window of opportunity to complete domestic leagues in Europe, but even so clubs are going to have to manage their players as effectively as possible to A) avoid infection risk and B) burn - out at the same time. I would say the line - ups will probably have a look where young players could be playing more regularly than the major players. Whether some fixtures will be completed where both teams play youth teams instead of superstars remains to be seen.

Olympics now have been put back a year. now if our peak is likely to be around 3rd week April/Easter how does that favour a football resumption in May/early June? Had interesting conversation with an Italian friend whop said it is likely the virus will be forcing many clubs in Italy to go out of business or to amateur level and the size of the Serie A could be reduced

If Racing doesn't resume in May then I would assume the Guineas meeting at Newmarket will be lost as well as Royal Ascot. I would imagine they will either cancel or postpone the Epsom Oaks & Derby and probably the Greyhound Derby will either be postponed or cancelled too.
The Open Championship Golf has been cancelled and will now be played in 2021.
