Have you met someone famous-if so WHO and WHERE did this happen?

Have you done something extraordinary in your life, like run the London Marathon OR raised money for charity by doing something terrifying like a parachute jump?

Have you ever done something dangerous in your life?

Whatever you've done tell all here Smile
The world knows me as a Sports Agent! Seriously!
Fame's stretching it a bit lot, but I feature in four of those 'machines at work' type videos on youtube Smile

And no, I'm not putting links up Tongue

Anyway, where's Rammy? He's been waiting all his life for this thread Wink
^rammy's got the receipts! Big Grin:
My claim to fame is that I'm the only person to drop a slice of toast that has not landed buttered side down Big Grin

I have also been in my local newspaper before but I prefer to go with the first claim

I then went on to eat that slice of toast Big Grin
I've had letters printed twice in The Times newspaper and been mentioned on Radio 2 for pointing out something. There are others which are slightly more famous but I'll leave those for another time-one doesn't like to brag...too much Big Grin
I suppose I would have to say being a guest reporter for a day covering a football match for the local Saturday evening sports paper.
It was a league match between Walsall and Manchester City in the period just before City hit the big time. My match report was published in full.

Other than that I have met a few famous people.
Katherine Jenkins at an album signing session in Birmingham.
Steve Davis at the Crucible.
Also met Geoffrey Boycott too.
Playing football for my local under 10's team, we went to Landsdowne Road to film for a tv show highlighting local sports team. Shay Given was the special guest and as we played our match I nutmegged an opposition player and Shay said to me "good skill wee man" Big Grin

Still makes me smile 22 years later Smile
Okay another celeb one Big Grin I once had a coca cola(which I really hate) bought for me at the fabled BBC Club(I was allowed in even though I was slightly underage) by none other than the late, great Roy Castle having been up in the gallery to watch a recording of Record Breakers(recorded in November, going out New Year's Eve afternoon) back in the early 80's. He was such a nice guy, it was awful what happened to him later.
