Microsoft Windows 7 support/help is being withdrawn from tomorrow 14th January, 2020 so if you use it after that we are told it could affect your system BUT I used Windows XP for at least three years after they stopped supporting that and didn't have any major problems-as long as you have adequate security(and keep it up-to-date) and anti-virus software you should be able to continue to use Windows 7 - you can upgrade to Windows 10 but it will cost about £120 and it doesn't suit ALL machines. They (Microsoft) are basically getting you to upgrade your machine but I can't afford to do that.
