So another forum year draws to its conclusion
We live in a world of increasing uncertainty and confusion

Thankfully a healthy cynicism is evident from many a forum member
Whether it be war in January, chaos in June or near recession in December

Paris Olympiad and Paralympiad the highlights of my year
No other events like them to provide me such cheer

Channels dwindling in number with the passage of time
With an elite few performers still setting a standard sublime

We still switch on our visual devices to seek stimulation
In the hope it might present itself on XP or Babestation

In award season it has been Beth and Clara that rule the roost
Plentiful providers in 2024 of a morale boost

Alas the days of strip to nude on telly are no more
Memories a plenty to rely on of jaw hitting floor

Oh for the return of a disrobing Lola or Clare
Go on OFCOM change the rules back for the better if you dare

Whatever happens miserable old git Snooks will stick around
In pursuit of alternative joys that may be found

I've come to a conclusion. That we are both a couple of sad gits

Well done snooks on your 15 years time.

You have some legitimate excuse though being a mod which places extra demands on you.

I am a sad git with no defence .
And furthermore I'm proud of it .

^^ One way of looking at it, I'd much prefer to to view those of us, as a small but elite group of forumites who've surpassed a year on-line, it's like a badge of honour.
