Next Saturday in Las Vegas Conor McGregor makes his long awaited return to the Octagon in Las Vegas against Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone.

I would say that this probably shaping up to be a real tough fight for Donald and see it ending either before the end of 3 rounds by KO or TKO or by judges decision but do think Cerrone has fight a strategy to frustrate McGregor to take it to a decision.
McGregor wins by TKO inside a minute.
I think McGregor wanted to make a real statement on his return and that was one serious demolition job. Whether he is working towards getting another title shot very quickly or working towards a second fight with Mayweather or second fight with Khabib we shall have to see, but he has been quoted as saying that "Mayweather 2 will happen one day"
I think he really wants another title in a third weight class or to regain one or both of his other belts he lost. However that manages to come about with upcoming fights I think that is his ultimate goal.

Mayweather 2 will happen when Conor retires from UFC after he either wins in a third weight class/regains his belts or fails in that attempt, in my opinion anyway.
good grief, he beat an old cerrone who had been finished in the first round 5 times already, and joe rogan with the cringe "the king is back" fuck me. and the media cringe when it comes to mcgregor is too much. even when he disappears for a while they don't shut up about him, it's constant. i see his name every fuckin day on social media. just today one media outlet called him and khabib 'the greatest lightweight fighters', fuckin how exactly? mcgregor has had 2 lightweight fights in the ufc and was dominated then submitted in one of them. how the fuck does that make him a great lightweight? he was a great featherweight but not the greatest, that's aldo and still is aldo, mcgregor is too scared to even defend a belt which he never has done. he's won 2 ufc belts, refused to defend them and whinged when they stripped him. he's so deluded, when he loses a fight he demands a rematch because he seems to think that if he wins the rematch then the first loss doesn't count.

be good to be rid of him to be honest, multiple driving offences, vandalism offences, assaulted a bellator staffer and a referee in the same night, punched an old man in a pub, currently being investigated for 2 alleged sexual assaults. is there more? ffs
I think if he is saying three more fights then I can only assume one will probably/likely/possibly be against Khabib.
I think I he does win a title shot of ANNY kind and win, he won't defend the title, he'll probably doe the same thing again, he'll let his arrogant attitude get in the way and he'll probably do anything he could to get out of a title defence he practically held the titles he had hostage for what was two and bit years?. If he ever goes up against Khabib again or probably Tony Ferguson I hope either of them knocks him out stone cold.

Are you saying Khabib isn't the greatest lightweight either?
right now no i don't think khabib is the greatest lightweight, i think it's between him and tony ferguson and the winner of that fight will be the greatest ever in my opinion, unless it's a very close fight where neither dominates then i would hope they book a rematch but they won't, they will give mcgregor the winner for no justifiable reason. and behind those 2 i would put frankie edgar. right now if i had to decide between khabib and tony i might say tony even though he has only been interim lightweight champ, they unfairly stripped him because of his injury which he came back from quite quickly, they didn't give him a fair chance. he has won more LW fights at the top level than khabib, and i think he has faced tougher opponents than khabib

some perspective, at lightweight in the ufc

khabib, 10 fights, 10 wins, 5 finishes
tony, 15 fights, 14 wins, 10 finishes
conor, 2 fights, 1 win, 1 finish Rolleyes

the mcgregor dick suckin has to stop, it's just embarrassing at this point
