Right I think it is about time there was a proper Forumite awards thread for this year. and I will choose who wins what. I think a number of people on here have been overlooked and always overshadowed by the same names that crop up in the main awards. Well, I intend to put that right and award something to those people I feel REALLY deserve it.

No nominations needed I decide who wins what because of what the person has done on threads and what they have done for the forum that to me deserves to be mentioned.

I will make my decision soon and who knows it could be YOU that wins. And yes there is a prize for all those of you that win.

First award up BEST CONTRIBUTOR TO A THREAD...Carl-Gen X
The reason is because he and I had a battle Royale posting stuff on the Memories of Childhood images thread and he came up with some great stuff and made a lot of contributions on ALL my threads and the Xpanded ones, so well done mate.

2nd prize and to be honest it was a no-brainer with the amount of pictures posted...

Should be interesting, let’s face it I’m not winning anything!!! Lol!! So according to G Mach do you think the normal voting is rigged??? Lol.

It is the ONE exception because he is so prolific and he didn't pay me at all Carl however has posted the best non babe pics but then if I gave him that award it might be seen as cronyism and we can't have that.

Moot point that but it would be interesting not to see long term forumites like rammy and winsaw not nominated, let's face it you can't miss the posts they do can you

BEST UNSUNG HERO(or in this case heroine) IS...kelly1066. Basically she has to put up with a lot and I would guess she has also had a few unwanted admirers over the years she has been here so for putting up with that and us, and some very funny posts at times I think she deserves this accolade.

Interesting never before has a forum member run his own awards are the mods going to allow this bucket load of mess.

Just joking mate it's a good idea strange idea but still a good idea think maybe you had a midlife crisis while you was away from the forum. again just joking mate.

It's meant as a bit of fun Kingsy, because a) some people ALWAYS appear on these things and b) I don't stand a chance again this year against the more established members who have been here for years-still getting over the disappointment of last year, although my new thread the facts and trivia was a surprise entry, so why not create my own and give it to people that get overlooked(with one noticeable exception because he is just too good and probably a dead cert to win again) The Mods here know me by now and believe me it's not an easy thing to work out. I admire the fact that you have taken on doing awards stuff too -- bet you were considering yourself for Babe of the Night
