His comic book accurate General Lane has always had issues with Superman. Even in the show Smallvilie he had issues with him.
oh I don't dispute that - it's just a crappy idea. But then monstering the wrong person because you have enmity with them is hardly something confined to make-believe worlds...

Episode 13 - Edge spends the whole time dithering over his next move, until suddenly making his mind up.
And neither Lois nor Lana wonder what was so serious about Atlas Pond, nor does Lois offer to interview Lana and Kyle for the next issue. But then when truancy is treated like a hanging offence, what price law and order anyway?
Again it’s comic accurate people when some thing isn’t on here like like when they change the race or gender of a comic book character and when make it comic book it’s a issue, I would a comic book character stay true to who they because that’s what makes them who they are.
The General Lane character has always been like on screen from Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman and even Smallville where he hated The Blur until he saved Lois and had greater respect for him. Lane is a military man who is proud of serving country all tho he knows Superman is a good guy sees him as threat because his so powerful and every went rogue he would be unstoppable, even Lois’s relationship with him as always been strained because his military first whether it’s been in the comics or screen. The version of here is lot more mellow then other versions of him. They do explore more of his relationships with other more into season 1 and continues in season 2.
John Jonah Jameson characterisation for example is comic book accurate whether it’s been in cartoons or live action movies totally hates Spider-Man and at the same time treats Peter Parker like shit, Robert Downey Jnr characterisation is exactly Tony Stark/Iron Man, the same with Chris Evan as Steve Rogers/Captain America. It’s what the characters who they are.
Been renewed for Season 3.
Season 2 Portraits
1.14 My only previous experience (!) with the Eradicator was the "Superman Dies" trilogy from the mid-90s, so this mostly comes as new to me (as I suppose it must be expected to do). Got a lot to wrap up in that last episode...

1.15 Hey, I actually kept up with it (kind of)! Decent end to the series, I was expecting some ideas from the off that never happened so maybe I was second-guessing too much.

Look forward to S2 hopefully coming in the Autumn..?
