According to Freeones Daryl was born in Derbyshire

Regenerated was correct in saying that it's not a national contest. It's a competition to find the girl who deserves being inducted in the Hall of Fame.

Of course mate it is about the induction more than anything!!

Ok, it doesn't actually say 'born' but I've heard her mention her Scottish roots on more than one occasion.

I would imagine she lost her Scottish accent when she moved to Manchester but I think whoever wins does deserve the induction because both were & have been amazing performers on the shows and I'm sure many of us can vouch for how filthy both have been on the phones too!!
