Is this the right room for an argument? Just the five pounds please.!

I never used to bother with the Ignore option in previous years.
In recent months I have started deploying it for posters who I regard as guilty of just shit stirring or those who I regard as guilty of an unnecessarily demeaning and critical tone.
Cannot be bothered with that sort of thing.
So it has it's advantages.

I have 4 people on my list and one of those are banned now

I have three, they took an instant dislike to me-I wonder why, as I'm mostly harmless?

The ignore option isn't even worth it because i can still read the member's posts i want to ignore, its just hidden at first,
but im not sad enough to put anyone on my ignore list on an internet forum even if i never agree with them about anything

Tbh i wish i could ignore threads which i have no interest in seeing, such as the "What did you last eat thread" who fucking cares
then i wouldn't have 7 pages to scroll through after being at work or out all day

Well that's your prerogative, you can be a miserable old curmudgeon if you want to and rail about all threads you don't like but I think they are fun and that's what it should be about here; if I wanted to be depressed I'd watch a party political broadcast. Life is crap as it is and this place as others have been in the past is a bit of escapism. Don't want to be friendly fine, no skin off my nose I have made some good friends here, people who instantly got where I was coming from and we are friends outside of this forum. Others? well as Arnold Rimmer says to his shipmates on Red Dwarf "I've come to think of you as people who...I met!" Nice knowing ya.

Your life maybe crap but my life ain't crap, oh well it seems like 2 more people have added me to their ignore list today then, how times have changed on here
