R.I.P to the Lion
Hi

Great man, I recall a TV Programe some years ago and one of the Lions said his nickname was Cesar after the actor in the original Oceans FILM who was the driver, of the Lisbon Lions Billy McNeil was the only one who had a car and that was because his wife also worked, how times have changed.

He was signed by Jock Stein for £250.00 probably the all time bargain player made 822 appearances for Celtic and had two stints as their manager wining a total of 31 trophies.

RIP Billy
A giant of Scottish football RIP
Was he the last one alive of that great team?

Saw Sky repeated a tribute show with Stelling talking to him, Auld & someone else. Good stuff. He was only the Man City manager when I came into football, so I never had a high view of him. But I have learnt a lot since then.

Cesar, hail and farewell Sad
