There's been a couple of discussions on definitions surrounding the shows of late. I thought it might be a good idea to continue looking at forumite's opinions on these matters with a series of polls...

Now that 66 use the term "Backstage" for both babes doing fta Web Only shows, as well as the usual paywalled options, has an announcement or ad using the term led you to confuse what type show is on?

To me a stage is in a theatre and usually a built-up or raised platform made of wood or other material. Back stage means to me behind the curtains of this stage. Perhaps it should be 'behind the scenes' which is usually referenced in television studios.

Backstage is fine for the paywalled options but the fta webshow should be just that a webshow
Even the production staff don't know what the difference is. Yesterday Jamie started one of her backstage shows and one of the production people tried to put her on a Web only show instead and she had to clarify and impress on them what she was doing, rather forcefully actually. Why the studio can not just let the girls do what sort of show they want is very odd.
The reason I voted for no (you idiotBounce:biglaughSmile is because, if the girls are off the main screen, it matters not which show they are doing backstage to the (vast I think) majority! It is clear that this will be the only option left eventually!
I’ve said no as in this case backstage means a s66 babe is not on screen & is either online or on a break
^ 1. That is not how 66 uses the term. When they say "backstage" they don't mean the babe is bts not working (on break). The Gallerys in particular use it to mean both; that they are on a paywalled OR a web only stream. I saw Gallery mean both definitions in a single sentence the other day!
2. You (or 66) don't think it's important for guys to have the instant recognition of the difference between these things?!!
Didn’t vote but IMO backstage just means not on TV. Web or cam only. But i agree it's confusing use of the word.
What about when they use backstage to mean the girl is camming from home, these are some muddy waters u are swimming in shandy lol
^ Personally, not seen it used that way recently mate. Maybe on the 'other' channel?! Wink

Muddy Waters otoh was a good singer... Wink

...

Now I'm confused. lol
