I agree with you all a bit more diversity would definitely be nice. Even after all these years of the babe channels running it's a shame that black girls are a rarity.

Even when the main channels have been hiring new girls recently I can only recall 1 or 2 being trialled on Studio 66. That's about it

So far since Olivia decided not do night shows anymore there is just Valentina and since she left S66 came to BS she has got better and better...but we need more black girls, there must be some somewhere?

I guess the problem might be a lack of black applicants for presenter roles? The channels can only contract those who walk through the doors and seek work in the field. Black women are ambitious and successful in the mainstream jobs market these days and perhaps just don't go for this type of work now whereas in the past they might have? One hopes it is not discrimination by the channels.

I really miss the heyday of Rochelle/Savannah-Mai and Ruby Summers on RLC (before they went to BS and suffered the fate that befalls all that make that journey of doom). BS had Olivia Bond who was so hot, her arse and tits were simply incredible, but she petered out, probably her talent wasn't managed properly.

Candy Storm is who I miss. What a body.

It's a shame that most presenters no longer post on the forum.

Because it would be great to hear about the experiences of black women in the industry.

Stuff like how they're treated by punters and the channels.

Charmaine Sinclair is another beautiful black host that I failed to previously mention.

i think thats harsh as it imply's that channels are not trying to get black girls to work for them,
good example VNTV have been trying to get a black girl since they started but have found it nearly impossible as there are so few black girls in the business these days, and the few there are, are being able to ask premium wages as they know there are so few of them,
one of the girls listed in this thread was approached very resonantly and wanted the sort of money one of the top girls at BS would be on, no channel is going to give that to a girl new to them,
its sad that more black girls dont want to be on the shows

I think you hit the nail on the head, winsaw. Which is probably why you find they're more likely private camming than on the shows, more lucrative for them to exploit a niche demand more.

I think people also overlook that culturally in the UK, black girls, like asian girls, were less likely to enter the business, although the younger generation do seem to be more open & bucking that culture as there's many privately camming now.

At the end of the day, the channels can't recruit babes that are not readily available to begin with.

I do think this is a big issue though and needs addressing. The "variety" of babes has definitely declined in the past 10 years I've been watching.
