I'm downloading at about 15k/s, it's painful!

Yes, very slow.
I just save the videos i like now, using bitcomet 1.12

I checked just now and the speed seems OK at this moment and the videos play without any buffering.

I'll investigate whether there is any issue with the server that has caused slow speeds at certain times. It might just be that the site was very busy at those times, in which case an upgrade to the server may solve the problem.

Its probably all those schoolkids on holiday watching.

Still seems slow admin, I've had to download everything because it's too slow to watch.

I tried it again just now and it's still OK for me. Can I ask what speed is your broadband?

It's a 1.5 mb/s connection. I can usually get a download speed of about 155k a second from most sites, but if I try and watch a vid it just spends forever buffering and isn't watchable. I just tried downloading a random video and it's maxing out around 30k a second. Hope this is of some use

I've just tried it and it's working ok for me.

I've just tried a couple of other video sites and they seemed fine.

If anyone else has Sky broadband would they mind having a try?

Yes, that's useful, thanks. It explains why I can't see any problem when you clearly do have a problem, as I have 8mb broadband (which in reality is 6.7mb, as that's what speed tests always tell me). I tried a download just now and I think the average speed would have been more than 300kB/sec, although at one point it showed over 700. Most of the time it varied between 200 and 400, although since it was sometimes higher, I'm guessing that the average would have been at least 300kB/sec. However, not only do I have 8mb (6.7mb) broadband, but it was 8:00 AM at the time, so the site is likely to have been much quieter than it would be at peak times. I'll try again this evening and see how it compares then.
