Mark Hollis of Talk Talk Has Passed Away

I was sad today to hear about Mark Hollis' passing. He had took a back step from the celebrity lifestyle to spend more time with his family and had mainly been out of public view for many years.

He was such a great innovator of different styles, most notably synth and ambient rock and was another indie music hero of mine. Sad news to hear today indeed.

RIP Mark.

The two classic Talk Talk songs I remember fondly from my childhood when they released in the mid-eighties was 'It's My Life' & 'Life's What You Make It'.Although the band officially broke in 1991 both songs have still regularly been played on various radio stations & still feel current.

Another sad loss in the music industry.
