Dame June Whitfield, star of Absolutely Fabulous and Terry and June has died aged 93.

I grew up watching Terry and June in the 80'S

RIP June

I remember her one The News Huddlines on Radio 2 in the 90's and she was very good at voices and playing characters. It is a shame she has passed on but she will be remembered by another generation for her role as Saffy's grandma and Edina's mother in 'Absolutely Fabulous' which was a great role for her-another generation will remember her appearances in several later Carry On films too. RiP Dame June. PS I hated Terry and June but I liked them both in other roles.

She was a brilliant comic actress,RIP.
