It’s being reported that Actor Derek Mears has been as Swamp Thing, Mears played Jason Voorhees in 2009 reboot of Friday the 13th. He last seen in season 4 of The Flash he played the villain that had the power to shrink things. Swamp Thing will use practical effects rather then making the character cgi.
On one hand I'm happy to see Derek Mears in the role and the word of a practical suit, but on the other hand Len Wiseman is not a good director.
At this point, if the show looks good visually (Without Wiseman's lame green filters) and the plots and Swamp Thing costume/makeup is good, I'll be happy.
