Big day has arrived - today I have my new hearing aid fitted at 9:15 not sure what to expect but I just hope it isn't too small so I can't find the bloody thing when I' not using it! After that then ovr to Parents for a roast dinner then a haircut and then Sunday at home

came back an hour ago and all went well. Had a new test before I was given new aid and it's a lot better and clearer than my old one and better got batteries as well and IMO the batteries they issue are crap and Boots' batteries are better.
Yes, I find it needlessly cruel that hearing aid batteries seem to have such a short lifespan. Good to hear (ahem) that things seem to be more positive for you just now.
