Geoff Johns has announced another show to join the DC Universe streaming service. He will write the series and executive produce with Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter.
The series will premiere in 2019 and will have a 13 Ep run, the character has already appeared in shows such as Smallville and more recently Legends of Tomorrow, in the comics she was a member of Justice Society of America. Geoff Johns created the character in the comics and she was inspired by his sister how passed away a few years.

Actress Brec Bassinger has been cast as Stargirl.
Actor Joel McHale has joined the show and has been cast as Starman.
Actor Lou Ferrigno Jr son of the Incredible Hulk Actor has been cast as Rex Tyler, a.k.a. Hourman one of members of the JSA (Justice Society of America).
Actor Brian Stapf has been cast as Ted Grant aka Wildcat and was part of Justice Society of America (JSA) he’ll be in a recurring role. A version of his character was last seen in season 3 of Arrow but this version will be more comic book accurate.
Actor Henry Thomas (ET) has been cast as Dr. Charles McNider, a.k.a. Dr. Mid-Nite.
Some new casting news Actress Joy Osmanski has been cast as Tigress, a.k.a. Paula Brooks, Actor Neil Hopkins will play Lawrence “Crusher” Crock, a.k.a. the Sportsmaster and Nelson Lee has been cast as a villain called Dragon King.
Actor Luke Wilson has joined the show and has been cast as the DC comics character Pat Dugan.
Jake Austin Walker and Meg DeLacy have joined the cast there roles so far unknown.
