The first ODI starts this afternoon from the Oval
England team: Jonny Bairstow, Jason Roy, Alex Hales, Joe Root, Eoin Morgan, Jos Buttler, Moeen Ali, David Willey, Liam Plunkett, Adil Rashid, Mark Wood.

Australia won the toss and are batting first.
Australia 214 all out off 47 overs. England well on top.
England finally won by 3 wickets. But they nearly managed to blow it again in a few days, and were only saved by a 35 no by David Willey
With england desperate for a 90+ mph bowler and with Mark Wood seemingly having lost a yard in pace i wonder whether England should have used this 5 match series to try out one of the young expressmen in the county circuit. Garton, J. Overton or stone maybe. Alternatively they could just stop being dickheads and allow Jofra Archer to play for them now!!
Captain Eoin Morgan played a decent knock to guide England somewhere near the finish line.
And Willey calmly finished things off.
After a bit of a shambles against Scotland I think just getting back on the bike quickly and getting a win was important no matter how.
The 2nd ODI is underway from Cardiff.
Morgan has a bad back and is replaced by Sam Billings. Buttler moves up the order and becomes the captain.

Current score 101-1 off 16 overs. And it's started to rain
Jason Roy made 120 today. He seems to either get out very quickly or make a really big score. Buttler also dazzled with 91 not out off only 70 balls.

England finish on 342/8.
Australia ended up at 304 all out in 47.1 overs..
England scored a world record 481/6 against Australia at Trent Bridge, the same ground where they set the previous record.
