Very well given that GB were taking on teams ranked substantially higher than them with a team that basically hadnt played for months due to the pandemic, whereas other teams players had been playing in the likes of NHL, KHL & SHL
CONGRATULATIONS TEAM GB!!!!!

Beat Italy 5-3 this evening to go back up to the top group to play the likes of Canada, Sweden & the USA next year
TEAM GB travel to DENMARK IN AUGUST for the final Olympic Qualification games where they will Face Denmark, Japan and Norway.

It is thought the event will take place in Aalborg but this has yet to be cofirmed by both the Denmark Ice Hockey Federation and the IIHF, matches will take place between August 29 and 1st September.

Winners of this group go through to the next Winter Games in Italy.

Last weekend Team GB won 3 out of three in Cardiff to reach this stage, beating China 10-1, Serbia 11-0 & Romania 7-4.

Any Manchester Storm players in the team Rammy?

Yep Big Grin in the last GB Squad that won all 3 of their games in Cardiff last month (it wasn't last weekend), Manchester Storm Captain Cam Critchlow was in the squad
Apologies for misinformation

If we did get through Rammy would we be considered as favourites for one of the medals? I would think the game with Japan will be a key game for us in Denmark as probably the one with Denmark as well.
GB play their 1st game of the 2024 world championships tomorrow morning vs Canada in Prague, coverage starts at 11:15am tomorrow morning on Premier Sports 2

Sweden v USA is on this evening at 7:15pm on Premier Sports 2
