^^ They get funding based on success. The women have won medals at the last 5 Olympics including 3 golds and now the men are medalling as well. Bearing in mind we don’t even have a track in the UK (just a facility in Bath to practice starts) that feels like a great return to me.

having no track is prob whats makes us so great they have learned to quickly adapt to any track with 6 practice laps. where as other nations who have tracks get used to one track and find it harder to adapt
