28 Days Sober

This morning, I was notified that my January phone bill was ready to view, online, and the "extra call charges" have amounted to £36.46.

So, the total bill, due on the 17th, will be £69.74.

This is £155 cheaper than November's whopping bill (£225 is literally a quarter of my monthly wage) Coupled with December's £125 bill, it basically ruined my Christmas.
But again, my fault entirely.

My No1 piece of advice for people who frequently ring the shows, is to download the mobile phone bill app of your network provider.
I would have (most likely) been able to resist calling for a while, if I'd seen that I was running up a bill anywhere close to the £100 mark, let alone £200.
But guess-stimating my call fees is no good. Certainly not when my addict brain is so creative at justifying just one more quick call, after just one more quick call, after just one more quick call...

Trust me, seeing your call charges makes it unignorably real.

I'm very happy at the moment, despite how dramatically this all reads, lol.
But, if there can be a positive to this thread, it's potentially helping others in the same, sinking, boat.

There's lots to be said for 'Pay as you go'

or sharing mobile contract with your family like i do now can still call using rampant as its local number and it comes off the minutes i have on the contract also means i have to credit up using a card which i can control by the tips i said early on in the thread

28 days is a good start think i went about 4 months without a call or cam. have to say i have resisted almost a week now including Ashley Jay, Jess Lloyd and 2 times sammi tye was camming.

Stopped calling these channels ages ago, just got tired of being ripped off by long introduction recorded stuff and Q system. As for the girls, they are there to make as much money for themselves as possible, that's all. £2 per minute plus connection fee's is a ridiculos amount of money to charge for what these girls actually do. If every caller were told what the call had cost them at the end of each call, i dont think these channels would be in business any more. Much cheaper options with lots more control out there.

Ducky,It seems as well if your only taking home the best part of £1000pm regular calling of these numbers is probably not the best thing. As Charlemagne said get a PAYG and treat yourself to a £20 hit every so often a bit like having a Chinese meal on a Friday night once a month or so and you won't feel the financial cost so much.

Well i lasted til about an hour ago have to admit. but was worth it was to call Cara Steel who had returned after being off since Aug so not to disappointed that i broke the call embargo

Ah, well she is particularly lovely to have a clean & friendly chat with.
She's always busy, too, despite never resorting to tease-hour style day shows.
A testament to her gorgeous, sparkling personality & I hope she is feeling much better.
