Not long after the death of Shyla Stylez, the porn biz has lost another young starlet. August Ames has died, apparently having taken her life. Another premature, sad death.
Edit: It seems she received some online backlash after saying she would not perform in a scene with a homosexual performer. It looks like the criticism she (unfairly) received pushed her over the edge.

Agree I also hope these “fuckwits” take a good long look at themselves for driving August to take her own life.
Some including this Austin Wilde have deleted their tweets bullying August, probably to avoid getting a backlash or they do feel ashamed

I am saddened to read of her death. One of my favourite scenes is one for Brazzers with Kieran Lee and Ariana Marie. The intro segment was very funny. She was funny and beautiful. Before entering the industry, one of the jobs she had, was working with disabled children. She was also quite pleasant to fans as well. [/u] RIP to a beautiful and compassionate soul!

Her comments were unfortunate but they certainly did not warrant the reaction that she received. One of her fellow actresses, I forget who said on twitter that they had no idea that it was that bad, indicating that she probably suffered from depression and I doubt someone who was of full mental health would have taken their lives over this one event.
Media (social or otherwise) and society in general need to take responsibility and conduct themselves in a way that is conscious of those that have mental health vulnerabilities. I don't know if it was the online backlash that caused her to take her life though I do know that her last tweet was "fuck y'all" which seems pretty damning though not conclusive, that being said if she did indeed suffer from depression she could of just as easily taken her life the day before the backlash without any trigger, such is the harrowing nature of that disease
Hope Twitter do the decent thing and give all info they have on file to police so they can be arrested
