Jens makes a great point that also applies to babe channel hosts about the most important trait a model should have is really good eye contact with the camera.

I'm surprised all the channels haven't tried to do a similar type of model search.
They could make money from voting, photos, videos and cams.

^^ Yeah, the common type of phone voting programme being everywhere, it's a wonder why an operator hasn't done a fully fledged version of their own. Could it be the numbers applying would be so poor as to make it difficult?

OT: ^This is probably the only downside of the pervcams for me - and it's a real major one - a babe builds her audience and subsequent success in any parts of the shows through her basic interactions with the TV camera. That lens is the show's attachment to the larger world, NOT the net, otherwise why spend a small fortune being on there?!
A babe's main camera focus is an absolutely vital lifeblood of the channel's continued survival. Break that eyeline for any sustained period and you are threatening your longterm revenue - there's no doubt about that for me. How can a guy feel brought on board each night, invested to stay and interact, if the babe's focus is not towards him?
The existing custom in the cam is of course important - it has to be taken care of but setting up a system where the night babe's focus is to the pervecam for prolonged periods is simply going to be detrimental in the long run I feel. The current idea that a night babe can play to both cameras fully can only end in a dwindling market.
For me, the cams and night shows can only function correctly with more rotation and offscreen sessions.
BS Academy was a concept that had potential but was poorly executed.
It shouldn't be too hard or expensive for all the channels to give a glamour model, stripper, porn star or escort a one off 8 hour shift.
They could do it over one week with seven different daytime hosts and seven night time hosts.
The prize could be a year long contract for the day and night time winners that would be based on call stats, cam stats, text votes, social media votes etc.
The competitive aspect would force each host to put on a cracking show.
I personally don't like pervecam because I want to see a presenters facial expression when they're being more filthy.
I also think every host that uses it should wear no knickers otherwise its pointless.
I wonder just how much demand there is for a place on a babe channel roster now. If there was an X-Factor type event, how many girls would turn up to it? It would be very interesting to have an insight into the recruitment process, whether there are multiple applicants who need to be whittled down, or if there is a "talent scout" who scours strip clubs looking for likely girls to approach, when they are running low on presenters.
I get the impression that some girls just appear for a few shifts in order to up their profile a little, for the benefit of their dancing / camming / escorting , which may be more lucrative than being on the shows. The idea of being a career babeshow presenter may be lower on the wishlist than 10 years ago. Giving a prize of a year long contract on a show may even put some of them off.

I never thought about that because I thought they'd make more from being on TV than camming or stripping.
They probably make more from escorting than they would from TV though.
Maybe girls that wanted to be glamour models during the lads mag era probably want to be babe channel presenters now but I guess they'd rather be webcam models instead.

I guess the modern inspiration for young women to enter the industry must be social media followers or free xxx site views.
