Echobelly - probably a victim of having one song which was miles better and catchier than any of their others (Great Things), see also Boo Radleys.
^ I liked "Great Things" but don't agree it was "miles better" than Dark Therapy, it's just more upbeat.
I think their moment had already passed though by the time the latter was released.
Boo Radleys, well yeah but they've only themselves to blame picking that name.
Always thought it was like naming your group "Holden Caulfield" or "Yossarian".
Though, now that I've just written that, I can just imagine some heavy metal band calling themselves "Yossarian".
It's probably already been done.
Yossarian would be a classic indie band from Lowestoft or something.

The Boo Radleys had 2 tracks I recall from the unsung glory that was the Chart Show, but I can't forgive the atrocious Wake Up Boo.

I did own Echobelly's big album. I thought it was called NO until I realised I was holding it upside down [/very old joke]
John Peel was quieter about this one...
