Remember Menswe@r at the height of the Britpop era? They were a pretty quirky band who had some hit singles like "Being Brave" and "Daydreamer".They released two albums but the second only came out in Japan.They split in 1998 but reformed in 2013 with a largely new line up.

I've heard worse, too, but 1 catchy tune doth not a career make (well, not usually).
There were some good Britpop acts worth remembering, but Menswear are not one of them.
