Leinster beat Racing 92 15-12 in Bilbao
I think Eddie should still consider a place for Danny Cipriani in the England team for the Autumn internationals series, despite his misdemeanours in Jersey this week any discipline should be handled by Gloucester alone as he was on pre season with them and not with the England set up

Leicester Tigers beat Saracens 15-12 at Twickenham to win the Premiership Rugby Union title.
Crusaders did what they always do! Unstoppable machine of winning
nine years in the wilderness for Leicester ended by last gasp drop goal it remains to be seen if this heralds a new period of dominance
but congrats to Leicester
It was a bit of a nerve shredder the last 15-20 scarcens decided to wake up as they were a little flat and Leicester tried to finish the job

So glad for the Tigers. I am always going to pull for the ' 'real' champions who finish the season in top spot - and this year by a margin!! What a turn around for them!

For me, if the play - offs are to remain (i don't like them personally) then the team that finishes first should go straight to the final, with a play - off between 2nd and 3rd for the right to meet them. Fourth should not figure at all.
A sad day for rugby with the latest news on Worcester Warriors! The owners have rightly taken a bit of tap for their role (alleged or proven - their blame game is disgraceful - even if - on one level - they may have a small point) but the sport as a whole has to have a complete rethink about where it goes from here!

The wider reaction though to all this, has been as nothing compared to if a football club went under - particularly from the media, who would be imploring people/govts to get involved in a search for a solution. Let us hope somebody somewhere has the wherewithal to turn things around! This time though, should such people/consortiums be found, their proposals must be subject to the minutest forensic scrutiny!

It frustrates the hell out of me that it is the bedrock fan that suffers yet again, when the sport has followers a plenty at international level who don't seem to be interested in the clubs from which those players at country level come! No disrespect, but cricket in England suffers from the same issue.

NB I will add a footnote here on one of the greatest (in my view) players the domestic game has seen (one cap for England seems ridiculous) Chris Pennell!! I am glad in a way (not saying that current players don't deserve sympathy - they do) that he wasn't around to be 'thrown under the bus' like the rest appear to have been. The guy on his day, was a genius - not too strong a word!! Up there with any of the world star full backs in his own way!
