The first match of the series starts today between the West Indies and England

This is the 1st of 8 warm up matches before the World 50over competition begins in June.
England: Jason Roy, Sam Billings, Joe Root, Eoin Morgan, Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes, Moeen Ali, Chris Woakes, Adil Rashid, Liam Plunkett, Steven Finn.

West Indies won the toss and put England into bat.
It's been tough batting but England have managed to score 296-6 in their 50 overs
and Eoin Morgan scored century which I think will please him but don't forget they are playing the world cup holders too

Australia are the World Cup holders in this format
England win by 45 runs after West Indies bowled out for 251.

A spirited effort at the target, but England's total was pretty decent in the conditions and too much for the West Indies to chase down.
A solid performance from England overall. Morgan was a bit fortunate early on but made it count and there were other decent contributions with bat, ball and in the field too.
A good start Smile.

A good start indeed would be a nice confidence booster for the summer ahead after a difficult tour of India if we can win this series
2nd ODI today. West Indies won the toss and batted against an unchanged England. At the halfway stage, 25 overs, they are 98/3.
